gravel stuck in teeth
Meant to update this blog properly yesterday morning but didn't have the time, so here goes.
this evening worked on one of my older tracks re-recording and mastering with the usb interface so nice crisp clean sounding. Had some trouble getting my Kaoss pad not to buzz from my guitar singnal even on line out the amps/pedals seem to overdrive the poor thing so it distorts. Got to whole lot recorded at least will work more on it I think Tuesday and Wednesday
Before this Plum had made me a lush roast dinner veg yorkies and chicken and stuffing was great realy endjoyed it as I had only managed a sandwitch at work as it was very busy. Now it being busy at work was great realy had a good day and it flew by with little problems.
This morning I had got up early to let the dog out same time as Plum so about 630 drank lots of coffee and this is when I recorded the most of the re-recorded tracks for the song called 'lost souls' (spooky eh?) Thus ran out of time to write this.
Saterday I had off and spent the morning with a slight hangover nothing to bad. Just walked the dog and Plum to work discovered that my software wasn't in stock (magix samplitude 15) and so have had to get it delivered on tuesday/wednesday.
I also wanted to get my multi poweradapter but by the time id got to the shop had shut up. Got home and attempted to do some chores but then discovered the hampster behaving oddly very still and cold. Though she migh be hibernating again but nope she's snuffed it poor little bugger may she go to hampster heaven where your cheaks never get full and there's no cage at all.
Friday evening Plum and I spent at John Luce Locketts house with members of his drawing school and variious peoples at his new exibition opening. Very nice evening mulled punch and booze and a lot of smokeing.
Thursday I think was when Ted and Nina came over and we played super mario lots and giggled. The morning on Thursday I got up super early for work and managed to watch most of NIN dvd 'beside you in time'l which was very good made me realise you can't sound live how NIN sound on record as even they don't there's so much production. This spured me on to work harder on band stuff and I'm more and more pleased with what I'm producing.
Wednesday evening we Jordan came over and we just chilled out. She stayed the night.
This blog has been written at 11pm yesterday 4 am and 9.45 am also took me ages to do it ugh then I was late for work as €be woke me up at 4 am and made me take him for a wee. Then couldn't sleep.

All you base
Cant work out quite what is going on but seem to have conqered my Vocals issue. Made me sound good with out having to do anything other than sing with my heart and sing with pleasure and not concentration on hitting notes and over all sound just letting my self go. Very happy with the way its comming along just a few more bits and i think ill be ready for starting to release the stuff. To start giging this stuff im going to have to make some sacrifices i feel but in the end will be far better than what is happening now. I give up on most people and will have to select new people to be in the group i think as at the moment im just angry with non deication non commitment and non efferts being put in i feel im doing all the work and if thats the way it is i may as well reap the rewards of it all by it being MY project my BAND that people can join. After it may evolve to be a more mutual process of creation but right now i cant see that happening.
Ive realised im rubish at Mario (good at Mario cart) but i dont care as its so addictive...i just cant put it down! That and animal crossing is cute but im not sure quite what im doing yet lol. Scribblenauts is on its way too!!! So much DS funs to be had, i wish i traveled more on my own to places far away so i would have time to play it more. Lunch breaks and little bit of time i get in between work Plum and music making.
Im waiting for Plum to get back from work shes gonna be cold shes on her lil bike awww cute huh? Gonna run her a bath and make a sausage sarni for her NOM NOM!
Tobes is wingeing at me think he needs a wee wee better go let him out

Wizards of the curried world and Mario
So splashed out crazy style yesterday on Plum and i with a 20 quid take away from the Merlins and got the New Super Mario Bros on Wii. Two hours of solid game play and we got nowhere lol our minds have been placed in 3D world of shoot 'em ups and crazy grapics then when presented with a 2D platformer we sucked lol Wwas great fun the co op part is great and you get to ride Yoshi which is cool as Yoshis island was my fave Mario on the SNES!
Middle day to day of my five day strech at work and yesterday was more bareable than the last however it was less productive store wise barely any custom just people complaining about their Bills Phones and dongles that their children had smashed. WHAT DO U THINK I HAVE A MAGIC WAND! (oops just mistyped that and put magic wang hehe)
Payed today with a bonus so i get my very own DS lite with resident evil and a all in one type thing with loadsa mini games. I also ordered Scribblenauts i dont know if anyone has seen this game but it looks most fun, was a tenner but commin from china may take a while to arrive. Chell is bringing it over and comming with her daughter and man folk to have a cupper this evening which should be nice havnt seen them for a bit.
Saturday looks like its been well planned Panda, Kat, Jords and Looooms are gona come over for multi player Mario and drinks with pups and peeps should be lush.

Phew
Pay day tomorrow thank fucking god!
Most of the cash is already spent ready to go on such things as: My own an external usb case for a lap top hard drive so i can save plums data from her fucked laptop. A multi point power adapter and jacks for all my pedals to be linked up in serise. DS lite and a few games i have seen around on Ebay that i fancy Final Fantasy 3 and Scibblenauts. Then of course the xmas pressie torrent that i need to get and hide from Plum as shes realy poor at waiting for her stuff lol.
So i think i have finaly solved geting my vocal parts at least recorded well if not sounding great due to lack of skill/depth/range in my voice box. They are sounding clear with out peaking and with a little playing about i can get them them to sound pretty professional. (ooo thats another thing i must get a proper pop shield)
Started on a new song too again basics have been written on my DS10 and then im adding guitar and other drums/synths as i go but is sounding cool already. In terms of band i have set another ultimatum that Karl must learn A song by practice time this week or theres no point in doing practice. If it works or not is another matter. There are things i can do but i hate being mean. It weird that hes having a baby tho.
So im in second day of five days at work, its dead quiet and very boring well yesterday was. Need to pick up sales these few weeks as ive had lots of time off, but cant realy do that with the way it is right now bussiness wise.
My G1 has been sentoff for repair and im not missing it as much as i thought i would, just means im spending more time thinking than reading what other people are thinking, and that has led me to think....that maybe its a good thing to be off it more and just sort of spend a small amount of time on it a day and fill the rest of my time with somthing more productive or entertaining at least.
Right off to work for the day got me some stir fry for lunch mmmm but i am still full from a delcious shepards pie plum amde last night YOM!!!!

Bit too chilled out last two days havnt been very productive at all not as much as i wanted to be and no where near got stuff sorted for my moms birthday which is friday and since im working tomorrow the stuff will have to be done thursday evening and friday day time. Why i refer to it as stuff is because i have no idea as to what im going to make her, was going to paint a landscape and frame it of a beach could still do that but might be a bit rushed. Ill get somthing sorted.
Just a few days till payday and a final solution to the horidness that is my fucking overdraft. No massive bills to pay just xmas to deal with and im not doing a big one presents wise. I prefer the peoples and hanging out bit of Xmas spending quality time with the peeps you love. Presents are second rate compared to that warm feeling after xmas dinner watching some crappy dvds and feeling full of turkey and pudding :).
Realy looking forward to it can ya tell? So i should be getting my own DS at the end of the month any one recomend good games for DS RPG stuff realy no numbers or brain expanding games please. So when im bored of programing my Korg thingy i can slay some dragons or somthing.
Recording yesterday was fun with Billy Locket, realised how out of practice my voice is i havnt been singing along to stuff for such a long time just dancing about in my pants it means my voice has lost its flexibility, also a helpful comment from Ricky when he visited the other day is that i sound kinda non commited to what im singing to dead and no passion to it got to realy put my self in these songs mind sets of when i wrote them. Billy however has an amazing voice very Counting Crows-esc but with more Radiohead styled pianos and guitars.
So there is a practice this week at some point thurs or friday and it better be productive im fed up of it draging most fustrating and ive got to take this thing by the horns and stear it in the way in which i want it to go. Tired of mucking about.
Today i made stew and it was great however my "no yeast" bread wasnt so effective first batch i left in for to long and turned in to a rock and second lot had too much liquid and have turned in to bread/biscuits still can eat them but dont look like the nice crusty rolls i wanted.
this makes me happy enjoy!
